As per the Victorian Building Association’s new legislation regarding the safe removal of flammable cladding, we partook in a “test case” working in conjunction with the VBA. Glendale aged care facility was stripped in it’s entirety of the flammable cladding covering the building. We then reclad the entire building ensuring the VBA’s standards were met and that the residents were safe. Since this test job has been completed we have been engaged by Allity to visit several other of their sites. We have updated the facilities, as required to ensure the VBA’s fire rating compliances are met.
